    MineSwine Network Rules
If you think an action could be against the rules, but is not listed in the rules as an illegal act on the server, please refrain from doing it. The following is a list of infractions on the server.

Keep in mind that just because a rule isn't listed, doesn't mean that action is allowed. If you think it's wrong, don't do it.

    Do not advertise
Using any account to promote a direct IP to another Minecraft server is not permitted on the MineSwine Network.

    First offense: Two week mute
    Second offense: One month mute
    Third offense: Permanent mute

Spamming adverts or any sort of IP or using spam bots will be a permanent ban straight away.

    Chat links
Sending any links in chat other than that of MineSwine related links will result in a punishment

All punishments regarding this rule will result in punishment at the staff's discretion.

Do not ban or mute evade
When receiving a mute or ban, the punishment is used to prevent a player from using chat, or connecting to the server until the given time is up. Any bypasses around any mute or ban given will result in a permanent mute or ban, depending on the type of punishment. (i.e. Bypassing a mute will result in a permanent mute. Bypassing a ban will result in a permanent ban.

    Be respectful
    Be appropriate in chat
    Do not spam

The three topics listed above will not be tolerated on the server. We work hard to build a friendly environment for everyone.

    First offense: Warning
    Second offense: One day mute
    Third offense: Three day mute
    Fourth offense: One week mute
    Fifth offense: Two week mute
    Sixth offense: One month mute
    Seventh offense: Two month mute
    Eighth offense: Six month mute

Past your seventh offense, you will continue to receive six month mutes. Permanent mutes are not common, but may be used for special cases at an administrator's discretion.

    Be appropriate
The entire MineSwine team works hard to provide a friendly environment to play on. Being appropriate on all servers across our network is important to us. Topics that are not appropriate on the server includes but is not limited to inappropriate names, skins, capes, or certain builds.

    First offense: One month ban
    Second offense: Permanent ban

Hacked clients, blacklisted modifications, bots, scripts, and macros
If you use anything from the list above that gives you an advantage in the game, then it's not permitted on the server. If you have been frozen on the server, do not log off.

    First offense: One month ban
    Second offense: Permanent ban

Do not abuse bugs or glitches
If you find a bug, report it immediately to staff. Abusing said bugs and glitches are not allowed.
Staff may also reset your data if they choose to.

    First offense: Warning
    Second offense: One week ban
    Third offense: One month ban
    Fourth offense: Permanent ban

    Do not boost
Boosting is the act of inflating your stats in an unfair way on any server across the MineSwine Network.

    First offense: Warning
    Second offense: One week ban
    Third offense: One month ban
    Fourth offense: Permanent ban

For special cases, you may be banned permanently at an administrator's discretion.
Staff may also reset your data if they choose to.

    Illegal trading
Trading real currency for virtual currency or in-game items is not allowed and is not taken lightly on MineSwine.

    First offense: Verbal warning
    Second offense: One month ban
    Third offense: Permanent ban

Do not make threats of any kind
The list of possible threats include but is not limited to death threats, DDoS threats, or DOS threats.

Any offense: Punishments for threatening others are left to an administrators discretion.

Even though an action isn't listed as an illegal act on the server, it may still be punishable. Use common sense. If you think it could be punishable, play it safe and refrain from doing it.

If your account is compromised, and your account receives a punishment while you are not in control, MineSwine is not at fault. It is your liability to keep your account secure and safe.
